Still, Cloud can't say... this doesn't sound familiar. So someone told him about how people come from alternate worlds already (Kim? Seems like the thing Kim would have filled him in on.)

i know what fear feels like. not being afraid, but the sensation where you panic, and freeze. and you can't do anything. that bone-deep fear. i've felt it a few times before.
[It isn't quite what he meant, not what he was getting at. Which is fine, it was a very open question with little direction. That's all right.]
The Fears in my world are... tangible. Real things. Real entities. And they feed off your fear. There are... Specificities to it, what fears correlate to what entity. But the footage you sent me... I could clearly see almost all of them.

you're talking about like... concepts, basically? like being killed. or being alone. or being forgotten. things like that, right?
Yes. Exactly like that. Those entities *are* our fears. And the fear of them we feel only fuels them, makes them stronger. Someone before me categorized them and put names to them, but they all exist. And they were cast out of my universe, into another. The footage you sent me. It looks like nearly all of them in some form or another.
[Maybe it's less that the Fears that developed in Jon's universe are manifesting here, maybe people in every universe are just afraid of the same things. But what a coincidence that would be, that every universe just coincidentally has the exact same fears as the ones that developed in his own in its creation.]

real bad news, then. maybe we avoided the worst of it? could be, if they're here, they aren't as strong as they were, where you come from. that's the best theory i got, anyway.
what about that woman? in the other video. she look at all familiar? do the fears take... human shape?
They would be effectively starting over from scratch here. Small fears that haven't yet integrated themselves into the psyche of those living here. It took several millennia for them to build up to an apocalypse in my world.

She isn't familiar to me, no. But it's not unheard of for these entities to collect avatars. Acolytes, those working in their name with bits of power at their control. I'm not sure what that one would have been.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to overwhelm you with all of this. I'm still processing being here at all, and heard about this happening. There's the chance I might be wrong. [And he would really like to be, for the first time it would do any good.]

but if they can only do something like this right now working together, that's best for us. and we can evaluate whether they really are the fears from your world. and the more we learn about this woman, the more we'll be able to confirm if she's an 'acolyte' of those fears or not.
what i'm hearing is we have time. not to let it simmer - but to figure out what the real truth is.
that's the mindset to have. i think most of us try to have that mindset, really. us being the 'lost souls'. people like you and me. not here of our own will. we're stuck here, so best to make the most of it. and the best way to do that is get as many answers as possible.
